![]() I take votes seriously and with some exception make up my mind, say, a few days after making them. I will still keep both sides in mind, but if what I had chosen works out, it works out. This is going to be somewhat tricky since the chapters for this will be coming soon (the week after next week, I think), so I will have to be extra careful if glitches do appear and files corrupt. ![]() If anything does happen in the near future with the father being in the Home World then I will revert to my older files and start over with the university and not have the father come home. I did proceed with the former BUT I still have files for my Sim before the semester officially started AND files last saved before the said-Sim headed back to university. Though I will be honest that I thought it would lean towards the first option more. Leave him at university and have the daughter find out when she goes to uni - 40 (Sorry for the longer than expected post.)īring the father Sim back to the Home World - 32 Vote and perhaps inform more about the challenges this may bring in the comments. If I decide to bring him to the home world and she finds out, I'll make sure he has some job and then make his own way into the world by having him move out after. Will it be worth the risk? Should the father come to their world and reveal that he is the Sim's daughter's father to spice things up? Or should it be left unknown unless the daughter Sim enters university herself and may find out that way? Because if I do the latter then at least he will still be young (as university Sims don't age) and I don't need to fear that he will die by the time she goes there. I've heard and potentially had glitches with past games build up when adding to uni Sims to the household and they come to the home world. I have both files of before he was added to the uni household and after, and had not proceeded throughout the semester yet before making the decision. ![]() However, I'm mostly afraid of the potential glitches this may cause to the legacy file. It could add some drama and see how the daughter (now a teenager) reacts when her bio father comes to see her. It might seem like a good idea for story progression's sake. Just had the Sim return back to uni and see that the father is still alive after suspicion he might not have been (was not under the Sim's relationship panel for some reason) since her daughter doesn't have a trace to go back and 'know' who her father is, I'm tempted to bring the father back home once my Sim wraps up her semester. She conceived a daughter and when she entered uni the second time around she was enemies with her daughter's bio father. To cut to the chase, one of my Sims kept flirting around when she first entered university and came home 'accidentally pregnant' (woohooer mod). ![]()
